HRSA Launches Health Workforce Connector to Help Healthcare Professionals Find Jobs

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has created a new online tool called the Health Workforce Connector to help healthcare professionals, including medical professionals, find jobs at more than 20,000 sites and healthcare facilities in communities across the country.

Medical professionals can search by job title, medical discipline, state, city and zip code to find jobs best suited for them. In turn, Idaho and other states can fill jobs in communities that need more healthcare professionals.

Providers who are employed by health clinics with a certain Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) score may qualify for funding opportunities offered through HRSA, such as the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) and NURSE Corps. These programs help place primary care providers in areas of the United States with limited access to care, and provide members with scholarships and loan repayments in return for their service.

Members of the Idaho Rural Health Association can use the Connector to find a job they love, be eligible for loan repayment, and become a part of a network of thousands of providers who give back to communities in need. To learn more about the Connector, visit https://connector.hrsa.gov.
